Pa Amou or Because of Love in English is my first book of classical music which is a Haitian approach to chamber music or “Chantrèl.” This book contains 14 pieces for a string quartet—12 with the violin and 2 with the flute as the leading instrument.
We sincerely hope that it catches the attention of the aficionados and musicians of this sophisticated genre not only in Haiti, but also around the world. We want to believe that it reveals the depth of our music in the execution of its authentic articulations and its exotic beauty in its expressions.
